Terrible

It was a beautiful day
The sky was blue.
Everybody was happy,
in the Twin Towers, too.
Then crazy minds
Having a different god
Leading planes into them
And thinking that was good!
The sky went dark,
the world started crying
about all those people
that suffered while dying.
The states wanted revenge
And started a war.
If this is for peace, we'll never know.
It's the way we have to go.

A child laughed at this moment
somewhere in the world
A leaf fell from a tree in this moment
silent
somewhere in a forest

Many people died in this moment
suddenly
Like appletreeblossoms, teared from the tree by the summerwind

Many people woke up in this moment
out of their dull lifes
Many blind saw in this moment
saw more than themselves

None understood god in this moment
None

So many people were strong in this moment
strong for each other
strong for those, who were touched by the shadow

So many feelings in this moment
Fear, sadness, horror and pain…
HATE

and don't forget love

don't forget love
for the weak
the innocent
no matter which colour they have,
which nationality

Never say "they"
because "they" are different

If we stand together
dreams and hope will find a way…
